On another note Halloween is coming up and this year i am dressing up in an orange boiler suit to be Poison Ivy in Arkham Asylum- the comic book outfit style rather than the new game one.
Im also making some Harley Quinn accessories do i can be her in Arkham on another occasion- probably just for fun!! I love cosplay and always like to do my own take on characters. Illustrations of costumes then photos to follow!!
Have also been working on some illustrated accessories to sell in the future....

on a side note, iv just noticed Wil Wheaton made the 'Where are they now' pages of Heat Magazine. heehee, what a star.

I have NOT read nor seen Twilight and find this whole concept hilarious. When exposed to the sun vampire skin *sparkles* like glitter. yes. really. Anyway i drew a little doodle in my sketchbook and scanned it in to add some colour. Bella is clearly

ok so i apologise for moaning a teeny bit in my previous posts, iv been rather bored out of my mind at home on my own. i know its not really my friend's faults, they've been working, or unwell. Still, some invites out from them would be greatly received. ^_^
so apart from trying, and failing, to form some sort of social life just what have i been up too eh?......
Well i am feeling quite happy in myself and haven't been fretting too much, which is an achievement for me.
I'v been having a few really vivid dreams (i have a somewhat photographic memory of the locations etc in my dreams, even from waaaay back), one of which i am currently developing further. It was like the opening of some great mystery adventure, set in both 1900 and the present day. I immediately wrote down and storyboarded the dream upon awakening, and am now developing the characters and possible future story.
Im not going to give too much away at this stage, but it's been a fun project!
i am also enjoying this week=
gazing at my three (so far?!) watchmen action figures..... all the flashback ones, including the comedian varient. Aren't they lovely!
watching all the baby birds, and fox cubs in the garden, oh and the baby squirrels and mr and mrs hedgehog.....
my favourite webcomics, a special feature on them coming soon.
listening to Mr Hudson and Kanye west collab, and little boots.
oh i could ramble on.......... i shall learn to control myself. not today.

On another note i'm feeling a bit better in myself, considering several knockbacks this last couple of weeks, im finally getting better at 'getting over' thing's, i'm not gonna be constantly dragged down. I got an amazing job, then lost it again; my precious birdy flew out the window while i was out, and it rained for my birthday. BUT the sun is shining, and i am the happiest i have been for a while. Now i just need people to enjoy it with. I am my happiest when i am with people.
Final note:
I do wish people would communicate with me more, i like to have plans confirmed rather than sit on my bum all day, only then to find i'm not doing anything in the evening either. It's frustrating, amd doesn't hel[p me mentally.
Please dont get annoyed if i constantly txt or make demands, it's an awkward way of trying to express my love for you, mistaken for annoyingness, when it should be happiness.

I'm Jennie, i'm an illustrator and sequential artist, and have a BA Hons Degree in Illustration. I'm a bit of a geek.
I enjoy drinking tea and reading webcomics. I like to buy action figures.
I plan to regularly post my doodlings and work-in-progress on this blog for all to observe.
( BTW 'Team Rubbish' is a superhero collective i created in 2004. It consists of myself and many of my friends, all recreated with the mighty pen, with randomly added super powers and general comic style greatness.)
